FRANCOBOLLO WE'RE DEAD

Unsatisfied with a simple lyric video or a trippy re-hashing of some recent live footage, Francobollo set out to do something special with the video for their most recent single 'We're Dead'. In an attempt to raise awareness about the effect of plastic and human waste on our planet, the brilliant stop-motion clip starts off innocently enough with an incredibly cute singing pie, before the band transform into all-consuming plastic hungry monsters. Band member and video producer Sam Bailey explained, “Being passionate about filmmaking and music videos, we really wanted to make something that would be active whilst we have platform and peoples ears ‘n’ eyes. A song like We’re Dead, which deals with the slow deterioration of our wellbeing, needs a call to arms. We approached Samuel Lewis, a very talented and compassionate animator, with the track and he immediately responded with a tailspin of thoughts regarding plastic and its impact on us all. It was a perfect fit." Check it out here now. -Holly Mullineaux
